Bush Meadow Farm

This morning Ethan, Auntee Mary Beth, and I went to visit Bush Meadow Farm in Union, CT. WE were joined by our friends Anne, Lee, Beckah, and Allie. We had a yummy brunch, we got a waffle and maple syrup, and a roll with lox and herbed goat cheese. Yummy! Mary Beth got a roll with BBQ goat meat and fresh goat cheese, it was also good. The portions were large and the prices were pretty good. After we ate the kids went outside to see the goats, and then we got to go inside the barn to see the baby goats. We had a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back again! Afterward we went to the UCONN dairy Bar for a tour(thanks Mike!) and some delicious ice cream.

The adult goats are covered with hay, and Ethan has a huge smile...I wonder how they got hay on their heads? Hmm.

Ethan loves to help! Tonight he helped me make dinner by rolling out the pizza dough. He's not such a great help putting the toppings on, he'd rather eat the pepperoni and the mozzarella.

Strawberry Picking!

This morning Ethan, Anne, and I went to Buell's Orchard to pick strawberries. Ethan made friends with everyone in the strawberry patch, and had fun filling his little basket. Every single berry in his basket had a big bite missing.
